In her words
What Dr. Andrus did that I was very impressed with — and very satisfied with — is the way he treated me. It was very, very caring.
He had a lot of focus on making sure that I was happy. That was big to him — making sure I was satisfied, and everything was correct in my mouth.
He's very soft, gentle. His touches were wonderful. He didn't hurt me very much at all. I had very, very minor pain during anything that he was doing in my mouth. So he made sure that I was very comfortable and taken care of very well.
"His touches were wonderful. He didn't hurt me very much at all." — A happy patient
The same procedure done two different ways can feel like two completely different appointments. The hand pressure, the angle of the instrument, the choice of when to numb deeper — none of this is in the textbook, but all of it determines whether a patient finishes the appointment relaxed or rattled. Dr. Andrus also uses iatrosedation (drug-free calming) and a full range of sedation options for more sensitive patients. Comfort & sedation → · First visit expectations →
